Description of Item:
THIS LISTING IS FOR THE 10 CHAIRS ONLY
A GREAT opportunity to own a stunning Teak Mid Century Danish Modern Dining Chair Set designed by Kurt Ostervig. This set is AMAZING & includes a total of 10 Teak chairs, yes we said 10 Chairs !!! 8 Side chairs and 2 larger arm or ”captain chairs”.  The chairs have very Modern, sculpted Design & Construction details throughout. Notice the Finger joinery on the side chairs, ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!  The curved, sculpted backs make these the BEST Dining Chairs we have EVER SEEN!  The arm chairs are very similiar in design to Hans J. Wegner’s “The Chair”. These came from the original owner who was a military man and had them brought back to the states. The owner recently had them re-upholsterd in a period style wool knit fabric. The teal/green upholstery color looks great with the darker redd-ish brown Solid Teak Frames. We simply can’t say enough about these, they are by far the finest chairs on eBay and the best Danish Construction of the era. Did we mention we have 10 available……  Match them up with the Arne Vodder Dining Table we have pictured here and available through our website. Kurt Ostervig pieces are Highly sought after and collectible.  Its time to add to your collection with these investment grade chairs.

Overall condition is Excellent!   Solid Teak chair frames are sturdy and comfortable.  Upholstery and foam have recently been replaced and is in great condition. Chairs may have some scattered marks about if you study hard, but overall this is a very clean set. Contact us for detailed photos as we always try to show the worst of any age related wear.
